It has come to the attention of the Institute that the firms listed below are practising accountancy as defined in Section 23 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1963 (Act 170).

For the third time in almost two years, B&FT met Mr Fred Moore at the ICAG office in Okponglo, East Legon. He walked us to his office and we could see the same steely-eyed determination we saw two years ago.

Revision of syllabus for Professional Qualifying Examinations
The Council of ICAG wishes to inform students of the Institute and other stakeholders that, the structure and content of the syllabus for the professional qualifying examinations have been revised. The revised syllabus takes effect from May 2015.

The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana, wishes to inform all members that frantic efforts are being made to rationalize membership requirements to enable members of the Institute use the designation'CA', Whilst awaiting changes to the existing law, Council would like to remind members of the current requirements of the Chartered Accountants, (Act 170),which reserves the use of the designation CA to only members who passed the qualifying examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana.
